Sarasota to Cayo Costa

Hi All, Im planning a 6 day trip from Sarasota Bay to Venice and hopefully on to Cayo Costa Island. I will be sailing my Compac 23 so weather and conditions will be the largest factor.
Any input from experienced west coast sailors will be appreciated!

It's an easy trip and a great time of the year. Enjoy! The ranger station near the dock in Pelican Bay at Cayo Costa does sell ice.

Make sure you have a good weather window. Right now it sucks for southbound.

Read Active Captain for the entrance to Pelican Bay.
