Sailing from The Abaco's to Eleuthera

I was planning on heading down to Eleuthera from Little Harbour in a couple of weeks and noticed on the charts that there is a northerly current. I was wondering, if this current has much of the same effect with a wind from the North as the gulf stream does. Any tips or advice of this passage is greatly appreciated.

We made this trip going the other way about three weeks ago. It was a great sail from Royal Island to Little Harbor. We had a great and very settled weather window and enjoyed a full day of blue sky and 15 to 18 k winds from the SW.
Be very careful and go south around Royal island if you are going to Spanish Town. Do not try the direct route to Spanish Town as there are lots of reefs and heads that are not well charted.
