Hello! I always wanted to live in the wild. I tought of creating a tribe in Papua New Guinea. What do you think is the best place to do this? Any abandoned Islands where this is possible. I was thinking about Tetepare Island. How are the laws there, would they allow a group of white people to live there like a tribe? How is the Tetepare Descendants' Association dealing with this?

An explanation of the Baltimore joke, where race-related riots have been occurring, would probably derail your thread.
The only suitable tropical island I know of (no doubt there's hundreds more), is Clipperton. It is uninhabited and claimed by several different groups, but a small settlement did survive there for some decades. I wouldn't like to live there without a regular supply ship from Civilization, but you could certainly tribe away to your heart's content.

i reckon you could forget PNG, the locals are probably a lot tougher than you and kick you out if they didn't kill you first - just my opinion of course.

As for Tetepare Island, I know nothing about it except for what wikipedia says but again I reckon the answer would be "no".

Unless of course, you have serious shipload of money to play with!

Long term lease is available for many islands out there. Call it a "scientific project", and contact autorities asking for a relatively long-term lease (I don't think this project will last for more than 3-5 years though, and yes, you will have to pay for that). This won't be too expenive anywhay.

This is actually fairly easy and has been done before, so you should have no problem. They weren't even martial artists so you should stand a better chance.
First, gather your tribe (or work on your persuasion skills so you can recruit them underway) and then take service on a tall ship headed to the South Pacific. When well away from land, commit mutiny and banish the commanding officer and his supporters into a ship's boat so that they can perform one of history's greatest acts of navigation.
Then, sail on until you find an uninhabited island. Burn the tall ship, and watch out for a decade or so of alcoholism and murder, which is just the precursor for child molestation and sexual abuse in 100 odd years or so. Mission accomplished?

How about the cook islands, Suvarow in particular. It is a stop off point for cruising sailors on their way from French Polynesia to Samoa. One man lived there alone many many years. When I was last there the population was 3. As I said it is a stop off point for cruising sailors, many boats stop by but none stay more than a few weeks.. When I was there it was papa jonnie, his grandson, and baker the customs guy.
Maybe look into Vanuatu, hundreds of islands, many tribes, subsistence living.
