Intracoastal

We want to take intracoastal from Ft Lauderdale all way to Channel Five bridge. Has anyone done this lately? We have 5 ft draft. Where are the areas we need to be careful or need to be at high tide at. Anything else I should know. Plan on one night at Gilbert’s (Jewfish) , one night anchored by Channel Five bridge.

I traveled with a friend in a sailboat who had a five foot draft we made it from fort Lauderdale all the way to Marathon with no issues

Did that last December, no issues with a 5ft draft. Just stick to the magenta line and you should be fine.

My understanding is that depth isn’t an issue but some clearances are less than 64ft around Miami
