I live in Oriental. As to swimming, Whittaker Point Marina, Sailcraft Marina, and Pecan Grove marinas in town all have pools. The latter, however, requires annual lease contracts only.

duckpond49, Thanks Very Much for referencing TownDock.net! I have some vague long-term (~’22 … ’23) ideas about trailering over to Oriental from Charlotte for 2 to 3 day expeditions and I believe it’s going to be a quite helpful source of info for that.
