Best spot to stop to make repairs on anchor from vero to ft Lauderdale??

Im going to be at vero beach tomorrow. I need to stop , anchor, make some repairs and hangout and rest. Somewhere with free dinghy dock maybe a week tops. Whats the most boat friendly place from vero to ft Lauderdale? I have a 3ft draft.. Thanks for the advice

No replies? Perhaps it's the 'free dinghy dock' requirement?

We anchored just south of the lifting bridge at Fort Pierce and also in Lake Sylvia in Fort Lauderdale, enjoyed both; dinghy docks AIR $5 in FP & $10 (but refunded against beer) in FL.

Lake Sylvia had better weather/tide protection, but at this time of the year's probably busier?
If you're needing parts for your repairs, then Ft L would probably be the better choice.

We draw 6' and also did much of the route offshore, staying in the ICW and drawing only 3' you should find many other options; take a look on Active Captain.

So Lake Sylvia appears as a viable option then. Who is the controlling agent for it?
