Wind/Weather for February Miami-Tortola Sail?

I am wondering what the Wind/Weather generally would be for a February Miami-Tortola Sail? I am a bit leery since the Be Good Too event.

wait for a good window and even then take a lot of fuel. That is a long way upwind.

Do a web search for "thorny path." Get and read Bruce Van Sant's "The Gentleman's Guide to Passages South." Going from Florida to the BVI is not nearly as easy as you might imagine, just from looking at a map. You are going against the prevailing winds and currents for pretty much the entire way.

Not saying that you shouldn't go. Lots of people do it every year. Just saying that it is not as easy as one might imagine. Good luck.
