New Zealand -> French Polynesia ??

Hi Everyone,

We want to sail from New Zealand to French Polynesia next year.

I only know what Jimmy Cornell says in his book. And the Dashew's blog about in their ginormous future machines. So I am happy to hear anything you know about this trip.

The Tuamotus and the Sea of Cortez are our two happy places, our most favorite of everywhere we've sailed, and so we are going back.

I'm especially interested in what the passage feels like. Is the swell mellow or contrary and pokey? And the winds? Pilot charts are lossy, they show averages, but not stories and patterns.
