And yes, JVcomm works with windows 8.1... actually pretty well!

Re: Grib files via multiband radio

When checking out my Tecsun 880 (thanks again for the recommendation El Pinguino, there seems to be no end to how chuffed I am with it ), I tried JVcomm32 on my desktop PC running Windows 10, and it ran fine.

It was running what to me looked to be properly, but I had so much interference from all of the electronics around my PC (plus from the PC) the RF noise totally swamped the signal (which wasn't a surprise).

There's a Navtex only programme I came across and can't find again (forgot to add it to favourites, doh!), which looked really good too, and something like that would be really nice to run alongside JVcomm32 (could help with setting up, etc., once I get a laptop for on the boat - it's always nice to have more than one string to the bow, plus I now know that the Windows 10 that will be coming with the laptop, should be no issue).
