This looks as though it could be of great interest to all boaters. The Android App uses the barometer found in some phones and uploads the readings along with
GPS position and makes the data public. I love the
concept of contributing to a crowdsourced
project like this where you benefit and contribute at the same time. (Also, had no idea my Nexus 4 had a barometer...!) I only wonder if the sensors on our phones are accurate enough to make this truly useful...
