Chesapeake to Antigus

Looking at leaving from Saturday 2 November or in following weeks. Using a router (commander} but does anyone have any comments on the present wind situation v waiting another week. Thanks

We are in Annapolis and planning on sailing south on Friday ready for a possible departure on Saturday.

Salty Dawgs are leaving Hampton for Antigua no earlier than November 1. They use Chris Parker as weather and rout planner. I’m sure it’s too late to join the organized rally but you could contact them. You could contract with Parker for his service. There is a North Atlantic storm now that may be driving more northerly winds. This might create a favorable departure. Since we are already in the Caribbean I am not paying very close attention.
