Hi all...am looking at a trip to visit southern
Cuba via western
Jamaica and then on to Isla Mujeres but departing from
Cartagena,
Colombia. Departure time of year is likely to be February to April. Vessel is a 45 foot
monohull and crew doesn't generally enjoy "boisterous" conditions!
The pilot
charts for this area and time of year are not too encouraging (read frequent "bositerous" conditions). However I'm wondering about the likelihood of useful calmer condition periods such that we could scoot up to
Jamaica without getting too badly beat up.
Has had anyone had experience with this routing this time of year who could provide guidance please?
