Baja weather alerts to email or phone

Hey all, well I'm back up in Cali for a bit and my boat is in Baja. Does anyone know if there are any weather alerts that can push storm or hurricane alerts to either email or texts? I tried an initial google search without any obvious results.

Not a direct answer, but you can use a free X (ex Twitter) account for this.

“Follow” CONAGUA clima, they post frequently. This is account for the Mexican Servicio Meteorológico National. You can set up a notification by X when they post, if desired. This notification won’t be geographically specific other than Mexico, but it has greatly improved our situational awareness.

Also go to the noaa site and search eastern pacific basin.

That is how I have been keeping an eye on things down there.

There is definitely not the amount of attention as the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.

NOAA does a decent job though.
