Am I going to get beat up, weather wise?

I’m bringing the boat( Beneteau 343)from Port Angeles to PDX shortly. I just noticed the seas could be up to 8’ with a 10sec interval at the entry to the Columbia River.

The wind seems reasonable but the wave action is concerning.

I do NOT have a hard schedule and am disinclined to do stupid things.

Should I wait a day or so?

If you question it..... sit back, relax and wait.

Have a great trip

There's a webcam at the bar, could be helpful.

It wasn’t too bad. We waiting in Neah Bay for 18 hours or so and left Thursday afternoon. Coming out of Neah Bay we had little wind but a lot of swells. By early Friday, the waves had subsided some and the wind picked up,somewhat so we could sail.
