Just bought a new 60’ yacht. It came with an Ultra Anchor UA35 which I think is too small. I want to bump it up two sizes at a minimum.

We are hoping to give up our jobs and go sailing. We are currently getting our boat ready for our adventure. We desperately need to replace our old CQR anchor but we starting to run out of money (having replaced the windlass and chain). It would be wonderful to win this competition and get that amazingly large and generous discount. It would mean that we would be able to get one of those amazing new Ultra Anchors.
Our CQR has been know to drag, which has always been a worry. Being able to get a heavily discounted Ultra Anchor would certainly make my wife feel safer at anchor at night!

I have been reading reviews on the Ultra anchor for several years now.

I have also studied numerous cruiser articles on the performance and the pros and cons of the different anchor systems available.

I have the Ultra anchor on my purchase list / sailboat to do list.

I have a 1978 Downeaster 38 cutter that weighs about 18,000 lbs.

I have been working on my Downeaster 38 for the last two plus years getting it ready for cruising and circum navigation.
