This is great timing. Our last crossing from the bahamas we had lightning flashing on all sides of us. My wife was not impressed[emoji3059]
None of it was close to us, and I would have a lot more luck convincing her with your product.
Thanks for the opportunity.

Very interesting piece of safety equipment!

I've been lucky enough to never have met lightening up close and personal on my boat, but as we're headed off on a circumnavigation in a few years (thanks COVID!), I think this would be a very smart tool to have an board.

This looks like a great product and it would be a valuable addition to my boat here on the west coast of Florida. I woke up to a thunderstorm this morning and there are more forecast for this afternoon.

WOW, this is a piece of equipment that could be very useful on my boat. The admiral is very concerned about lightening strikes and thus if there are any clouds nearby then we don't go out. I would love one of these to ease her anxiety.

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

This would be very helpful giving time to prepare for a strike. I have been struck once and it was costly and unnerving.

re: TALOS Giveaway - EXTENDED TO SEPT. 7, 2020!

Looks like an interesting product, one that would come in handy here on the Chesapeake Bay where afternoon lightening storms can whip up in a hurry and with it comes fierce winds as well as the danger of lightening. It would be nice to have a bit more warning! We've been lucky so far, but have seen lightening hit the water close enough to see the water glow red for a few seconds!

Thanks,
Tom

With the way the Great Lakes can spin up storms , that would be great thing to have - i sat watching lightning out over the lake the other morning and was wondering ' how far away is that really?'

We do get many heavy lightening/thunderstorms and would be interesting to have this detector onboard.

re: TALOS Giveaway - EXTENDED TO SEPT. 7, 2020!

Two notable occasions - first at the marina in Fort Pierce, went through a T-storm, and afterwards found a palm tree a block away had been struck by lightning; second when crossing to The Bahamas had unforecast storms come up, and spent the crossing dodging localized cells. A lightning detector would have been extremely useful then!
