While most sailors put considerable thought into their main anchor and ground tackle, the dingy is often an afterthought. This can be especially problematic since the dingy anchor routinely is needed to secure the dingy in the comparatively rough water of the surf and shoreline. An effective and durable dingy anchor can potentially make the difference between an easy anchor and return to the boat or the need to figure out an effective way to secure the dingy so that it will remain where you left it.

There are many 'waterproof' headlamps on the market but a true "waterproof" headlamp with the 700 lumen output (most are 200 lumens or less) that this headlamp has is unique and especially valuable. It's no fun trying to fix an issue on deck at night with inadequate lighting. Also a headlamp with this power can certainly make it easier to track down a mooring ball when the wind wasn't helping you all day and you arrive after dark to your anchorage. Would be a great asset!
