Hmm, that's exactly what I was wondering about you given you've posted the same link twice with nearly identical text?

Re: Firefly Batteries are now in stock!

In fact I hardly ever specifically reco FFs, their added expense makes them good value for only certain use cases.

Usually Lifeline, Odyssey and Northstar are the way to go.

But FF are **uniquely** valuable for chronic PSOC situations, where converting to LFP is not appropriate.

But all this is wrt the NA market, internationally all the choices and value factors are different.

If you post a new thread asking what's better value than Full River in **your** market, you'll likely get more relevant advice.

Can you please point to this answer. It was asked once and you made a dismissive comment about the tech being different without link or explanation. Bruce then posted a nice overview of the Firefly tech that didn’t mention other carbon batteries at all.

The comment was simply asking if anyone knew of any reason that the carbon-nano tech would be different then the carbon foam or if there was any evidence of comparison? They both claim the same mechanism of action and the same use case (good PSOC tolerance).

There was no reason to be rude or dismissive. If you don’t know then just don’t answer. If you do know then a link or more explanation would be welcome.
