Re: OCEANPLANET ENERGY GIVEAWAY - ends Oct 12

Thank you CF & Ocean Planet -we have no solar and would love to add a pair of Solbian SP series panels to our Bimini to build out a charging system that makes multi-day anchoring more enjoyable:

Re: OCEANPLANET ENERGY GIVEAWAY - ends Oct 12

We have been cruising for several years & have made our 300 AH AGM house bank work with 320 W solar. Would like to increase usable AH capacity bank & improve charging time

I've been meaning to get a portable solar charger such as the Merlin on this page.

I've been looking at the Victron Quattro 12V 5000VA 200A because I have a very large house bank and my current chargers are not quite doing the job!

Power M Panels.
Small sailboat. Electricity and deckspace are scarce.

excited about this new option in lead acid science. I am in the design phase of a Lagoon 440 hybrid rebuild and need a cost effective alternative to lithium battery storage. I am designing a 48v hybrid complete rebuild replacing motors with electrical propulsion through Oceanvolt and hope to use firefly vs their exorbitant lithium alternative hoping to cut my battery storage costs in half for an equivalent system.
embarking upon a future changing dream!

It is really past time to have put a few hundred watts of solar cells onboard. The semi flexible cells would be a good fit for the limited space.

I am quite interested in this foldable portable Merlin solar panel. Seems like I could add a significant solar output to my system by putting this panel on top of our dodger when we are at anchor in a sunny place.
Many thanks to OceanPlanetEnergy for this giveway

Re: OCEANPLANET ENERGY GIVEAWAY - ends Oct 12

I designed my bimini to accommodate flexible solar panels, and I would love to have one or a pair of SR+175L panels on top to reduce engine run time.
