We are planning a trip next year from Norfolk VA to the Azores then possibly to the British Isles and on to the Canaries, Caribbean and on to the Canadian Maritimes. Another cruiser said the only thing they could not live without was the hydrogenerator. We want to she if she was right! We understand they offer a unit that can mount to our Hydrovane self steering unit! Gr8!

Well, I'm in the midst of refitting a 1988 c&c 44 custom...I've got another year or so of work to do... I've replaced all electronics so having a sufficient battery bank and solar and/or hydro generator would be amazing especially since this refit is killing my retirement fund... ��
Anyway, I've never won anything like this and I'm sure whoever wins will really appreciate it!

For the past three years I've been rebuilding my Contest 40 and set out in July! I'm sitting now in Gibralter after a 4 night passage from Lisbon, realizing that my current lead acid batteries just aren't cutting it. I'd also like to diversify my energy generation from only solar.
