Thumbs up BRUNTONS PROPELLERS GIVEAWAY - ends Feb 16th

A new VF108 SD three-blade folding prop would be a welcome addition to my sailboat. Is there anyone out there who doesn't like free speed and less prop-walk? Thanks to Brunton for a very cool raffle.

Thumbs up Re: BRUNTONS PROPELLERS GIVEAWAY - ends Feb 16th

Right now SV Apolima and crew, Phyllis and Gary are located in Majuro, Marshall island’s. We enjoy it here because there is no COVID19, no hurricanes and no snow. Plans to visit Fiji, New Caledonia, FSM Koserea and other places of interest are cancelled because they are closed. Apolima will stay here until countries open up.
Apolima is a full keel Durbeck 46 of 27 tons. The 22 inch 3 bladed prop slows us down when sailing and creates a rumble when freewheeling. I have been looking at feathering propellers for some time now. It would help us a great deal when we return to Prince Rupert which is 5000 nm from here.

https://www.bruntonspropellers.com/varifold They had me at quiet. My current prop growls. I've repitched it thinking it was cavitation but never got the animal to be quiet.

We are in the process of replacing our 23 old autoprop with a new one. This would be just icing on the cake.

Thanks for the opportunity.

I would like to motor or motor-sail at less RPM for the same boat speed. I would welcome ½ knot faster when sailing.

Refitting my boat with an autoprop would be Fantastic, I have read a lot of great things about the autoprop performance from sailors that have installed it. I really want one.

Really need a new prop for my planned blue water trip next year from Alaska to Hawaii. The $500 credit would be helpful in my rebuild.

Hello,
We would love to add an auto prop to our ZOE as we both love to sail and know the value of an extra knot. We do not like to listen to the wine of the fixed pitch spinning the transmission and being in the Med now tight maneuvering in the marinas is a must. Backing down on your anchor in a Med Mooring needs all the powers response and a Maneuverability you can get. we have recently moved onto our 2005 Jeanneau SO43DS and extensively outfitted her for life on the hook compleat w all new electronics, solar, lipos, water-maker, 3000w inverter and fwd scan. The Auto Prop is all we need to compleat our Dream Boat!!!
