The Albin Vega is the most built 27 footer in the world and this known as a 'pocket ocean cruiser' and 'all weather fighter'. This is hull number 3355 and is one of the last built Albin Vega's in serie 3.

This boat is worth a look for if you consider offshore cruising on a small budget.

The ad is in Dutch or German or something. Funny trying to read it as it occasionally breaks into English like "All Weather Fighter" and "Pocket Cruiser". The boat is listed as an Albin 27, the tradition of using Imperial measurement for boats survived 200 years of the metric system.

I owned one many years ago and found it to be a wonderful pocket cruiser. It had a small gas engine that was gravity fed and I would highly suggest replacing it with a small diesel.

No doubt they are a good boat built to high standards. Hard to say it they are the best.

Jort, I think the catalina 27 is the most produced 27 in the world.
Still, I owned a vega for 5 years and really liked it.
