Your vessel seems to be in every way well founded.

The only thing that we have on Hekowi that might be a small improvement is that our dodger is hand built of Starboard and Lexan. It is nearly identical in dimensions to yours, (as must be the case per the boom). But we have also gone with 5 windows. Our dodger is not leak proof, as a bow dive will result in some leak thru, but it is strong enough to stand on, and we have mounted a solar panel on a single curve planar top piece. There are also some hand grabs.

By building it myself, I was able to reassure myself of the sight lines, When I stand behind the wheel, I can see over the dodger, see the bow, and see the water directly ahead. The fold out bimini has a 6 inch gap, which allows a clear vision horizon. When I sit, I can see thru the lexan, I can still see the bow, but obviously not the water close ahead.

I ran a sailing club for many years, and the CT 47 center cockpit ketch is one heck of a vessel.

Just loved the aft platform! Now you have a CT49!

Not in the same situation as the mayor work has been completed on our CT 47.. but as it is ... the work never stops

I got a CT49, finishing up some major refit work on it now.

It might be valuable to post pictures and stories of problems solved on these boats. I, for one, am learning about them the hard way. Just about every system needs to be removed and replaced. I am not great at documenting everything, but I am making progress. I would be happy to share what I have learned.

Yes plenty of hard lessons learned.
I have just done the 'if in doubt, change it out' approach. Mine is a 1989 Cutter.
So far freshened up-
Motor Perkins to Yanmar with a couple of big alternators, Titanium chainplates, Dyneema rigging, 12-24v, thru hulls replaced with Groco or filled in, to name a few things.
I am pretty good at documenting in so far as costs, some pics Part numbers and suppliers contacts, but I would say most of this is standard 80s refit boat stuff, not so much CT specific.

My stuff, like most of us is reasonably specific to what I have done. But if you want any info on what I have done let me know.

True, it is standard for 80s boats. I have not yet replaced the Perkins. Through hills all are replaced. I am about to replace the wiring and plumbing. Have replaced the prop shaft and cutlass bearing. Have painted topside, and am about to paint the entire deck. Chain plates replaced and teak deck removed. All the portlights need replacing. Hoping to get the bulk of it done in 2021. We'll see.
