Awesome, Cheers. I have been wrestling with this and figured as much even though Victron don't suggest it. (From my search anyway)
It does need to be on when the engine is on in case of BMS tripping the house out of the
the alternator circuit. I will have the relay on the the Victron BMV712 set lower than bms voltage to cut power to MC614 but potential is still there.
My pay scale doesnt include a WS500 and trappings.
I feel bad neglecting the start battery as it has lasted 10yrs todate! Old feller like me.
