6 weeks ago, I bought a WattCycle 100Ah Mini just to get a first hand sense of this new (to me) tech.
Everything was perfect at first: Discharged to 40%, then a full charge. All parameters displayed nicely on my
phone via Bluetooth. At $195, delivered to my doorstep, this seemed like a win.
Then, after sitting inactive on my
work bench for 3 weeks, it appears to have malfunctioned:
Zero voltage at the posts.
Will not accept a charge.
Bluetooth connection is gone.
I have tried to "wake up" the BMS by applying various loads and charge sources, with no change.
Battery temp never went below freezing. Battery was brought inside the house overnight. No change.
Perhaps a "too good to be true"
price is just that.
