the other one (w.out its own image) is DC - surge I think.



Is anyone familiar with these (or know anything)? they must be a couple of decades old...

I disconnected the DC one and the red wire has never been connected...

It's a MOV in a box. They were bought out by Eaton a while ago.


It is my view that they serve no useful purpose on a boat.
