Voltage Calibration for Link 2000

Does anyone have the voltage calibration instructions for the Link 2000?
My unit is reading 0.85 volts low on battery 1 and 0.15 volts low on battery 2.

As a result I'm overcharging

I found some posts for the Link 1000 and Link 20 units that detail hooking up 40V to the input leads and entering a calibration mode by holding buttons during a power on. I suspect it is similar with the Link 2000.

IIRC, there is no voltage "calibration" on the Link 2000 (we have one on our boat).

It reads the voltages from the wiring to the banks. IIRC it's from the wires with the fuses to each of the two banks, not through the shunt.

What makes you think your voltages are wrong? Just guessing, but I'd bet you're reading the voltage at the banks with a DVM and comparing it to the Link 2000 voltage readings. In many cases, DVMs can be off the 0.15 you note on one of your banks, but 0.85 is MAJOR and the difference between a full and empty bank. Have you checked your wiring connections?

I have not ever had this issue with our Link 2000.

I agree with Stu - it is probably voltage drop from either distance or a poor connection.

I'll have another look....
I tested the voltage at the connector to the link 2000 but will open it up and see if there is a poor connection inside.

Btw your DVM will in general be far more accurate then the link at measuring voltages

So I have the oppsite problem. My link 200 is reading 1 to 1.1 volt high. This is compared to two DVM 's an the other installed voltage monitor. I need the Link to work correct as it controls the Freedom 20 charger.
I am not able to open the xantrex web site.

I have had some offline emails with one of the forum members in the know and there is no calibration procedure for the link 2000. There are a few things you can check on the board like the 5v regulator and the voltage divider but it requires advanced technician skills.

Before digging into the board level debug I have decided to install a new battery charger (higher output) and get it working.
