Victron Overload

I have just installed A Victron Mulitiplus inverter charger with a remote control onto the cat I am building. I plugged a flouro light into the GPO outlet and the inverter went out on 'overload'. I cannot now get the inverter to run even with no load without it trpping out on 'overload'.
Any suggestions on how I can get it going again.

Remove DC power to the inverter/charger to reset its brain. Have you tested all the features of the Victron as part of the commissioning process: mains pass through; battery charging; and inverting?

Thanks Charlie, I have done everything you mentioned, but still the same overload fault. I have been in contact with the company I bought the unit from and they have asked for it to be sent back to be checked out.

Regards

You can reset the system with the switch on the remote control panel. Just switch it off for a couple of seconds there.

The most logical reason you get this overload indication is that your batteries do not have enough charge to supply the inverter. Test with smaller loads while monitoring battery voltage.

cheers,
Nick.
