Trojan T105 o4 U.S equivalent?

My Trojan T 105 batteries are 9 seasons old and I am considering replacing.Local supplier has only 6volt U.S in stock.I am told they are cheaper than Trojan and almost as good.Ant experience of them out there?

Over the last year, and due to the slow/un-availability of the Trojan T-105s, both a friend of mine and myself, as well as the owner of a boat that I do yearly work on have switched over to the US Battery 2200 XC2 model.
While some might quibble about numbers, none of us has found any "functional" difference compared to the T-105s.
I think that the US 2200 is more comparable to the Trojan T-125.
Whatever, we got what we could when we could get it and have had no discernable loss of "performance".

Mainsail had a article years ago and the US batteries acturally came out ahead of the T105s. I have had T015s and rebranded Dekka GC2s and they both lasted the same amount of time. The golf cart battery industry is huge and well established and no one really makes a "bad" one and stays in business. Best measurement to compare each other is probably weight as that shows the thickness of the plates.

We've had US2200s for almost a year. They work just as well as any lead acids we've had. They have good customer service. I've called and spoken with the engineers at the factory several times when setting up my chargers.

My general rule of thumb for golf cart batteries is to look at the weight of the battery (~ the amount of lead).

The US2200XC2 weighs ~61# (232ah), while the Crown CR-235 is ~63# (235ah) and a Rolls GC2 235ah is ~64#.
Have used the Crowns for several seasons, they are good and a bit cheaper than the US battery counterpart. The Rolls batteries are at a similar price to the current Crown price.

Following. Our 6 T-105s are getting long in the tooth, and will need to be replaced soon. They have done us well, with no issues over the past 6 years. While I recall some previous blogs (here and elsewhere) have pretty well shot down alternatives for various reasons, this (current info) is interesting and pertinent.

Rolls are the top end- fantastic Nova Scotia product. Haven’t used the usbatts, but it’s be rolls first, then Trojan, then likely usbatts for me.

Many years ago, while living on a mooring and spending much time away from any shore power I was using a batt bank(s) consisting of 2 Trojan J-305s and 2 Rolls J-305s.
The Trojans gave 9 years of service, the Rolls gave ~10.
Both brands were showing signs of needing replacement for ~the last year or so of use.
The Rolls had a "small" amount of capacity over the Trojans, but at a substantial higher cost.
Since the case sizes were the same the "extra" came from plates that were a little taller within the case(s).
The upshot? The Rolls sacrificed space above the plates for "Top Water", as a result they were more dependent upon religious monitoring of water level.
So, after living with both brands side-by-side for those years my conclusion was that the Rolls were not worth the added expense and more fussing with the water to warrant the small capacity increase.

Cost & quality wise - hard to beat Deka/East Penn GC15’s. These are sold everywhere by GC dealers, Napa, Lowes, Costco-often under the Duracell name but quick comparo of the specs & weights show they are usually Deka.

One caveat: if you use a battery watering system, the cell inserts are not interchangeable with the Trojan T105’s.

I had the US2200 batteries in my truck. When they eventually needed replacement, I put in the Trojan T105s. I liked the US Batteries better. They performed and charged a little better. But for me the US Batteries are hard to get, or else I would have used those instead.
