Sounds like an idealistic goal. Can you give some practical examples of how to actually achieve your aims.
I'm certainly not the smartest but Im not clear on how to build in system reserves and redundancy while keeping as simple as possible.
Im always keen to learn from those of you that obviously have this wisdom.

With my system, it's likely not quite as simple as it could be to achieve the goal of it being very hard to lose engine starting power . But I was not only aiming for a simple enough design, but having it be simple enough to use and minimizing the risk of human error. In normal use, there's 0 human involved battery management, so minimal risk of leaving a switch set wrong, etc.
