Thru Deck Fitting for Solar Panel Cable

Looking for recommendations for an electrical thru deck fitting to accommodate a flat 10 gauge duplex cable. Thanks for your help.

Re: Thru Deck Fitting for Solar Panel Cable

If you want to go simple and foolproof, fit a plastic thru hull of appropriate diameter, with the barb sticking upwards. Then attach a length of flexible hose. Pass the cable through, then loop the hose down and tie it to itself. Unless actually submerged, no water will get in.
If the thru hull is plastic, the nut will need to be protected from UV with tape or whatever.
This system has stood me in good stead for over 20 yrs and costs pennies.

Regards,
Richard.

They come by various names. Defender has them listed as "Cable Pass Throughs". You can find them here: Marine Cable Pass Throughs on Sale

It appears that Blue Sea's CableClam is also drilled to match cable.

PO who had the solar / davits arch fabricated simply ran the wire down the 2" tubing with the hole then protected by the tubing.
