Study course online

Can anyone recommend an electrical study course over the internet. Really need to get up to speed on all the different applications for the cruising life.

I suspect you mean most if not all the various systems. But, the majority are topics in and of themselves. I don't know of too many courses other than Starpath but I do know of quite a few authors.

Mr. Kollmann wrote two books on refridgeration. ssulivan has one and I think is quite happy with it. Mr Kollmann appears from time to time on the forum also.

I found it very useful to buy a few books on 12 volt DC and 120 AC systems for yachts when I first started running a small research boat. Just reading through them was very helpful. There are quite a number of them listed on Amazon.com

I don't know if there is an actual course out there.

It's not an online course, but IMHO the one book to get first is Boatowner's Mechanical and Electrical Manual by Nigel Calder.

I was going to mention him too, but I had just referenced him in another post today and I try not to keep harping on the same experts.

Thanks
I probably will check into some books, and your recommendations are appreciated.
