I had a similar problem in
Florida with a starter for my 3jh3ce. When I took the starter off and turned it upside down it still had its original Hitachi sticker on it. I went to a local automobile
electric shop where they serviced starters and alternators and the guy had one in stock for about 1/3 the cost of a
Yanmar official part. Deltaville might not have such a shop, but larger towns nearby might have one that could get you a starter a little sooner. The difference in
price would more than pay the cost of a rental car to go pick it up.
You might try these guys on Monday.
