solar wiring...did i use the right wire?

hi just completed a small project. i ended up using the wire i purchased from home depot(from batteries to controller and from controller to the panels own wire which was about 2 feet long only) i have realized the solar panels own wire was stranded and i guess called tinned. my wire is also stranded but the strands are not as thin as the other one. To be exact its 20 thin wire making a 10 gauge which was the recommended size
my panel:Renogy Eclipse 100W 100 Watts Mono Solar Panel 12V Volt for RV Boat Battery | eBay

my controller is 30 amp .
wire i used: Southwire (By-the-Foot) 10 Black Stranded THHN-22973299 - The Home Depot
everything is powered up and seems to be working but i am not sure if i would have probem with voltage etc. stuff that i don't have deep knowledge. It took me whole day so i really hope that i don't have to rewire everythg. thanks in advance.

The wire you have used will do just fine and will conduct electricity just the same as marine cable. The problem that you will likely have is with its longevity. Marine wire is tinned and it prevents moisture from wicking up the copper and corroding it. The advantage of having many soft strands is that it will be more tolerant to flexing and won't become brittle as quickly. You're likely good for a year or two.

You are fine. Just heat shrink the connectors to reduce moisture ingress.
