Solar fusing

I'm installing 2-175 watt flexible solar panels on my bimini in the Spring. They will be in series and I bought a 10 amp fuse for the panels to the MPPT controller.

Is this the correct size or is it undersized?

I have a 40 amp at the batteries to the 40 amp MPPT.

Re: Solar fusing

There is no need to fuse the panels to controller.

The voltage might be too high for some fuses anyways.

10a is too small But it will depend on the panel voltage.

If they are 20v you’d have about 9a which is too close.

The 40 is fine assuming the bank is 12v
