I don't, but a google search came up with a bunch. But how would it have a remote override without having wires? There are of course solar battery powered lights with auto on/off that you could hoist or mount somewhere other than the masthead

Re: Solar Anchor Light

Yes but you didn't give any voltage or time reference in which case 1Ah is meaningless - i was happy to let it go but you asked if it was unclear, I responded yes because it was unclear.

If you are happy that everyone else knows what you are referring to then simply ignore the advice that you are using the term incorrectly, but just know that it is similar to saying that you get 50MPH to a gallon of gas - many will understand but it is still incorrect.

No I couldn't because that doesn't make any sense without a time reference. We don''t know how many watts it draws and therefore how long it takes to draw 0.1 amp hours as 12 volts.

You still don't understand the different between power and energy.
You need to understand the difference between the rate of energy flow (watts), current (amps) and energy consumption (watt hours and, indirectly, amp hours).

LED anchor lights are commonly in the 1 to 2 watt range.
Which means that they draw 1 to 2 watts(W) continuously. that is 0.08 to 0.16 amps (A) at 12 volts

In one hour one will use 1 to 2 watt hours (Wh) at 12 volts, which is 0.08 to 0.16 amp hours (Ah).
Assuming you have one on overnight for 12 hours, it will use 12 to 24 watt hours (Wh) or 1 to 2 amps hours (Ah) at 12 volts.

No, that is NOT what you wrote. You didn't give a time reference and without one, Ah is meaningless. Which is why I original asked "in how long?"

(It's even more meaningless when you consider amps vary with voltage for a given energy consumer, that many LED lights are rated up to 30 volts and quite a few boats use 24 volt systems)

Actually, it's more like saying your car uses 10 gallons of gas without saying how far that takes you.

Well we could add that a USCG anchor light probably uses more like 0.2 A. The 0.1A light is very likely not bright enough.

So lets say 0.2x10=2 Ah for the night, which could be handled by a small rechargeable battery. It will need a panel. So this is more than the typical garden path light, and of course it needs the right lens. I've never seen such a thing.

I’m going to assume you meant petty, because petty it is. It’s been like this for a long time on here.
