For the OP, am I to understand you are designing or even building an engineless ~35' steel sailing boat.

If so, how far have you progressed? i.e. chosen or drawn a hull shape, sail plan etc or is it just in the "conceptual" or "thinking aloud" stage?

I'm planning to build a hull designed by a professional (considering Dudley Dix's Pratique 35), with systems designed myself. Still in the conceptual stage (nothing built yet), but pretty far along in that. The big blank spot was electrical.
