Thanks Dude,
I’m in Maine right now preparing to move the Contessa 32 down to Galveston. You east coast guys just won’t leave me alone with the weather. Yeah, I know, it’s 65 at your place and not 101, but at lease we don’t have a tropical storms through the area every week (yes we did a few years ago but it was weekly for only for a month or so.

Anyway, I think the power plan for the Contessa is a large AGM for the starter, charged by the alternator and a solar panel. A shore powered 40a smart charger with a lithium battery for the house and a battery to battery charger between the two.

I called Battle Born a week ago and they appear to be really busy. Since I’m good with my current setup on the starter, I’ll probably just go piecemeal on the AC lithium charger and the B2B.

This boat originally had the AC socket installed in the anchor locker about 25’ from the AC panel, so I’ll install a smart plug in the cockpit and shorten the run a bit.
