You will be fine. That's the setup I have on my boat. Two house group 27s and one starter group 27. We
Cruise extensively, but typically end up in the marina every two or three days for a final top off of power. Otherwise, do an
engine burn an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening and you should be fine. The most power hungry thing on any sailboat is the
refrigerator. If you have a
refrigerator, freeze a bunch of 2 l bottles of
water and put them in your refrigerator with your groceries. It will reduce the energy draw substantially.
Your starter battery is probably electrically isolated so it only starts the
engine. Therefore even if you ran out of house power you could still start your boat. do you know if there's a way to turn off the power to your starter battery?
