Prosine 2 problem?

I hope someone can tell me something good...

Boat has been inside a shed having some work done for the past three weeks. Before that, it was in the water, attached to shore power.

Batteries are already down to 11.5V. Not too surprising - there's a significant draw - 2-3Amps which so far I have been unable to find. (How can I not find a 3A draw?)

Today I connected a regular extension cord into the boat's shore power - and the main breaker board registered 120V shore connection - but the Prosine did not. I was therefore not able to use the charger...

So - 2 questions - how can I possibly be drawing that much current? and Is it possible that the prosine doesn't like the home extension cord - and won't charge or is something else going on?

Is it possible that the 3A draw is something to do with the Prosine? and if I replace it I might fix two issues?

I've had to reset mine to factory defaults a few times to fix random stuff this thing throws out from time to time. Of course, then you have to redo all the breaker size, battery size and charging profile stuff. It's in the manual (it's late here or I'd look it up).
