Re: Praise for Trojan Batteries

I run 3 x 115AH Trojans...
First set fitted 2001, next set about 2007, present ones 2012 so close to 6 years at a time.
I give them a fairly hard life.

Re: Praise for Trojan Batteries

I know people love to hate West Marine... Sedna's PO installed 4 12volt flooded cell West Marine 75 batteries in two banks, and they lasted 9 years. I just replaced with 4 Trojan SCS225s and can't believe the improvement, but of course they are just weeks old.

Re: Praise for Trojan Batteries

We have been using 6 volts from Sam's for several years wired to 12 volts. Four on the house side and two on the starting side. Going on eight years now and about to replace all. No problems but feel it is past time to do so, as we are now full time cruisers and our use now will be consistent.

Tractor Supply sells EXIDE 6 volts for $79.00 which is $10.00 less than the Sams's price. That would be around $480.00 for 6. Anyone have experience with these?
