Portable generator recommendations

I have been following the portable generator thread with keen interest as I am considering purchasing a small portable generator for the boat. Let’s leave aside all the pros and cons that are part of that thread as for me it seems like a reasonable approach.

My issue though - the boat is 230v /50 hz with a great big sticker at the shore plug in warning of dire issues if any other voltage is used.

Honda doesn’t seem to make a 230v generator that is portable.

Have any of you with 230v boats found a portable generator that you like. I am thinking of the Yamaha but not yet sold on it

Thanks all

Here's a source. You can buy Hondas with 230V in the UK.

The Honda EU22i is 240v 50hz. In north America it may be hard to find. Shipping from the UK or EU may be your best bet.

Thanks tkeithlu. I had looked all over Honda site and couldn’t find that. Perfect. Now to source one

Re: Portable generator recommendations

CARB compliant generators produce less pollution than do non-compliant generators.

Re: Portable generator recommendations

Both Honda and Yamaha portables can be converted to run on propane, if that's useful.
