plastic coated solar panel

Hi , I installed a new flexable solar panel a couple of weeks ago, when delivered it had a layer of plastic, like food wrapper on the surface to protect it during install, now I know i should have peeled it off when done, but i left it on and forgot about it, it has now cracked and turned foggy seriously affecting power output, it is stuck on and in small pieces and hard to get off, I am worried about damaging the surface of the panel, I can scratch it off with a finger nail but the panel is hard to reach and this is obviously not much of a solution, any ideas how to clean it off??
Cheers.

First bet would be ask the maker, second the seller.

Third label / tape remover solvent, testing in a tiny edge area first.

e.g. Motsenbocker’s Lift Off at HD

As john suggests. Applying strips of clear packing tape over the film, pressing that down and peeling it off, should lift the film without damaging the cells.
