Question Photos of electrical installations

I'm looking for photos of electrical installations onboard boats. Particularily of any unique or innovative ideas for keeping the wiring neat and secure. I'm going to use Wheel's project as an example:

Before:

After:

I don't get to stick my head in many new production boats on such an intimate level but I'd like to see how the pro's do it. We're currently re-wiring our 1987 express cruiser (originally all household wiring) and are planning a trawler build next spring. Not too much worried about estetics as long as the wiring is neat, secure and safe. I've got a few I'll put up in my photo gallery so you can see what I'm looking for.

Thanks.

Rick

Here's a nice one. Dean 441 Cat. Panel comes with an engraved, signed plate by the lead electrician, sort of an "I did this".

Here is one that may help. Why don't you call Kanter and see if you could arrange a tour of their yard? I don't think you are to far away from them. They might show you around and let you take a few pics.

The Kanter yard is in St. Thomas.

Geez - those after pics make the back of my panel look like an explosion at a spaghetti factory occured - I'll have to take a before pic now and at some time in the future - don't know when - the after pic and post it - hope I can do as nice a job as you did Wheels.

Geez, I thought my panel was well organized and installed. It looks a mess compared to your pictures.

Heretical view

I find wiring harnesses that are too neat a royal pain to work on. They are pretty to look at though.

We have a certain person here at work that does very neat wiring with the minumum of extra wire all neatly bound...............l have to go out and fix / service the ^#$%@&* things ......NUMBER ONE....leave enough room so that it is possible to re attach individual wires......(think bouncing around all over the place whilst constantly sticking a screwdriver into your hand).....NUMBER TWO.....please, please, please tag the ends of the wires....(think oh joy there is 253 beautifully neat red wires all looking exactly the same) ......(a number system is fine as long as the reference sheet is in the box)...
