Ted, FWIW, we have that same genset on our 1989 T-43. And I do have a parts manual, ops manual, etc. on board. If nothing else, we can arrange to get to Nanny Key when we get to the
BVI in a month or so(we usually take a taxi up to hit
Budget Marine anyway), and I can bring it with so you can copy it. As far as parts availability....I've only run into a couple of instances where Cummins/Onan did not have the part. They are spendy, but are available. There is a dealer in Road Town who has a pretty good parts department....although I bought a
fuel pump from him a couple of years ago-the box was marked correctly, but the part inside was definitely NOT the
fuel pump I needed. Also, we've found a lot of parts numbers have been changed from the parts book....you need to find a source that will get the correct part no for you. And I've used some non-OEM parts as well (I just installed a new heat exchanger), ....they come a lot cheaper!
