Onan generator not starting

Good afternoon!
my Onan MDKAV generator decided to stop working today.
When I press the start button, the starter motor turns for about 1 second, then it stops.
No error code is shown by the yellow blinking light, nor the display.
Pressing the start button again does the same thing.
Things already tried:
- fuel filter is ok
- did fuel priming
- 12v starter battery is ok
When start switch is pressed the green led turns on, then the yellow led blinks (presumably glow plugs).
Did anyone have a similar problem? This is really weird, and without any error codes it’s difficult to spot the problem…

Are you at a remote panel? Have you test battery voltage while attempting to cranking?

Earth on starter system? I had a crack in the earth cable that was only visible when I removed the cable.

Suggestion: Get away from error codes and get to your engine. Jumper cables from the battery to the starter will tell you whether you have a starter problem or something farther back in the circuit. If the starter works, then move backwards, looking for a reason that the usual starter circuit is not delivering the voltaage/current you need.

If the starter doesn'twork, be sure to include a bad grounding circuit in reasons why.
