240V 60Hz has the potential to kill you if you’re not careful. It would be my advice
to get a knowledgeable electrician or technician with the proper tools to evaluate and fix the circuit.
What they’re likely to do is start at an upstream component and work
their way down towards the end device measuring voltage at each point. Stopping when they’ve found which point doesn’t have voltage and correcting whatever issue they find there.
Your indication that the shore power
light is on means there’s at least some voltage at that point.
