New li-ion battery

New battery tech just in.-"anyone tried the li-ion batts? One will replace 4 l16 and it's half the size of one. Guaranteed for 10 or 20 years your choice!

You didn't do a CF search did you?

Search lifepo4 for example, you have a LOT of reading to do.

What is new?
Boeing uses Li-Ion batteries though

Do some research and you will find several different mixes for lithium cells.
Boaters are using lithium iron phosphate which won't cause thermal runaway.

Big differences in the various mixes.
