Nav Lights for 33' Sailboat

I have a few questions about nav lights for my 33' sail boat,

Right now the only light working on my mast is the fore deck so i will got up and take the lights off today but have questions.

1. Mast head light, White,red and green. Am i right that the only use for the white is for anchor? This is a all around seen from 2 miles.

2. Masthead Red/Green are the same as the bow running lights but are not to be used with the lower bow lights?

3. Steaming light, lower on the mast just above the deck light, facing 225 degree seen 2 miles

4. Deck light, to light up the fore deck or called an anchor light?

5. I have read of some strobe lights atop the mast, what would the use of them be?

6. I have spreader lights but i am use of the use on them, to light the deck alot of you need to work up there.

where i am connfused is that i read a tri color masthead light can be white/red/green and the white is to replace the stern light.

Navigation Rules

I replaced all mine with LED's expensive, but beats going up the mast as they are supposed to last 50,000 hrs. I have used one for 5 yrs on 2 different boats a total of 15,000 miles. Orca Green Marine Technology - LED Lighting

The white of the tricolour and the anchor light are separate lights and you do not show both masthead and bow lights simultaneously.

Yes, I used tinned wire when I can get it.

Incandescent bulbs are a PITA. All those years. Must be something about that "Men going down to the sea in ships" idea. Considering how often they fail they are not acceptable if better alternatives are available.

If you can possibly fit LEDs I'd strongly recommend them.

Some suggestions:-
1) Mast top lights are great in theory but a PITA to service. There are LED port and starboard lights available now. I favour bolting them to the pulpit.
2) There are stories about mast top anchor lights blending into the background. I favour something about 2m above the deck if at all possible, maybe have both. Use LEDs.
3) There looks to be LED steaming lights available now. Strongly recommended.
4) All connections need to be made using tinned wire, soldered, with liquid electrical tape and heat shrink on top. No bulbs. No crimps!
