Multiple inverters

Aimed question. If I have two 2000w inverters, is it the same as one 4000w.

Point being, can I increase wattage later, or do I need to change out inverters as loads increase.

No, unless they can be phase locked (unlikely).

They need to be able to be networked. So same brand.

Ie you can combine victrons with a network cable to do that.

Magnum you need a special hub to connect them.

Cheap brands no.
